Brain gym

It helps to improve neurological function so that areas of the brain are more strongly connected. It uses physical movements and provides immediate improvement in the performance of the brain.

Our brain is divided into 2 parts. Right brain and left brain. In normal routine work, we use only one part of our body. Either left hand or right hand. The right hand is connected with the left brain and the left hand is connected with the right brain.

So by continuous using one hand, we strengthen the one part of brain while the other part of the brain remains idle. So day by day one part becomes stronger and stronger and the other part become weak. Our brain gets imbalanced.

By doing Brain gym exercises we are trying to balance both the parts again. Here we use both parts of the body simultaneously.

In the below given video, one student is performing Brain gym exercises. You just need to follow him and duplicate whatever he is doing. You can do this exercise anytime but avoid immediately after lunch or dinner.

Eye exercises

It comes in handy for speed reading because it requires your eyes to cover more distance on the page. Making your eye muscles stronger and more flexible improves your clarity of vision and retards the natural eyesight deterioration that occurs with aging.

Your head should not move. Just follow the object on your screen with your eyes.

Candle Meditation

You keep your eyes open and focus on a flame of the candle. A candle gazing meditation helps bring energy to the third eye, increases concentration, and improves memory.

Your eyes should be relaxed. No need to put pressure or try to widen it forcefully. Meditation is all about being relax and observe whatever happens.

Watch the flame of the candle. Try not to blink but initially it happens, don’t worry. After some days your eyes will be comfortable.

Initially start 30 seconds everyday than increase it by 15 seconds every week. Gradually you can reach up to 3 to 5 minutes.
